We are excited to offer the opportunity to become a part of our esteemed network of Academic Coaches. We are looking for exceptional individuals who share our commitment to learning excellence and student success.

At Academic Coaches, we:

•    Assist our students to break down complex projects into manageable, bite-sized tasks 
•    Teach them to manage their time effectively, even in less structured settings 
•    Guide them to understand their own learning integration and plan their schedules   accordingly 
•    Empower our students to communicate their learning needs confidently with teachers/support 
•    Equip them to foresee potential challenges and stay focused on their goals no matter what
•    Support them in developing strong emotional and behavioural self-regulation skills
•    Foster a love for learning by creating a positive and engaging learning environment 
•    Provide personalized coaching tailored the students’ unique strengths and areas for improvement
•    Offer tactics and strategies to ensure continuous improvement and long-term impact

Our coaching program lays a strong foundation for our students' lifelong personal and professional success. In today's fast-paced world, the self-management skills our students develop with us will be invaluable as they grow into capable, confident and independent individuals. 
 

​To ensure we maintain the highest standards, we have established the following minimum criteria for all prospective Academic Coaches:

​

Qualifying as an independent Academic Coach 

​

•  All of our coaches hold at least an Honors degree or equivalent accredited professional qualification.
•  All our coaches undergoes thorough background checks before being able to join our team, followed by a rigorous assessment and interviewing process.  
•  All our coaches have to complete our internal Academic Coaching qualification; this includes a range of practical assessments before qualifying to join our team. 
•  Our coaches are trained to understand the impact of Executive Functioning, they are trained to meet the needs of students with a wide range of learning styles and challenges.
•  Our coaches are compassionate and patient, creating a positive and encouraging environment for students of all ages to thrive.
•  The ability to work one-on-one with a student is crucial, so we ensure our coaches have the interpersonal skills needed to connect effectively. 

 

We offer flexible, customised support, optimising our results whilst taking the students' schedule into account.
